What are skin allergy tests for hair dye?
I read all the time that you should perform a skin allergy test 48 hours before dyeing your hair. What does that mean? What is the test like?

You just put a tiny amount of the dye on a patch of your skin and see if you have a reaction to it. If you itch, swell up, or have some other response then you are allergic and shouldn't use it. The 48 hours is in case you have a delayed reaction.
do a SMALL patch..if it doesnt turn red or itch in 24 hrs ..ur not allergic, BUT like nair, you can not be allergic at first..then become allergic
