Is it possible to form an allergy to nuts after eating them almost all your life?
I love almonds and always have. I used to be able to eat them not stop. Now though when I eat them my mouth starts to go numb. Is it possible I could be forming an allergy to them or its there some naturally in almonds that would be doing that.

yes
but i dont think your mouth would be numb if you were allergic to them
Sure, you can form allergies to nuts…
YES.. my friend LOVED peanuts and then all of a sudden she got sick after eating a snickers bar. then she realized that it was the peanuts… now she is full blown allergic. she was 17 at the time of allergy
this is how allergies work!! see an allergist, carry your epi pen & Benedryl at all times, look up FAAN online, and read labels.
YES. Stay far away from them. The more you eat a certain food the more likely you will become allergic to it. Use care eating any foods that are related to almonds also. See a allergist as soon as you can. Your mouth going numb is a real bad sign. The next one you eat could kill you. This is no joke. Almonds are used in a lot of flavorings especially baking. You need to ask if you need to get a epi-pen. During a bad reaction you could only have moments to save your life.
Based on my experience, yes. I have a severe reaction to cats and dogs now, but not in my youth. I had been severely allergic to sulfites, now it's no problem. I think allergies come and go.
yes, too many can cause an allergic reaction.they are far too heavy and rich and tats why, your body cant take it. if you have them with something sweet like chocolate or something like that or if they are within a muesli bar or something like that, then it wont cause the reaction. everything in moderation.
